The Test  (boy)

Heavenly Father send me to Earth
And hopes I'll do my best
He wants me to live with Him again
If I can pass the test.

But He knows that I'm not perfect
He knows at times I'll fail.
He knows I'll need a savior
If I am to prevail.

Jesus said he'd be the one
To sacrifice and conquer
He came to Earth and died for man
So death will win no longer.

Because of His great sacrifice
And His wise and loving council
I can be made pure again
If I follow His example.

I can join my Heavenly Father
When this test is done
Feel His love and hear His words,
"Well done, my faithful son."

The Test  (girl)

Heavenly Father sent me to Earth
And hopes I'll do my best

Easter

On this Easter morning
I remember Christ the Lord
I remember that He died for me
He fulfilled God's holy word.

Because of His great sacrifice
My sins can be forgiven
My life can be made clean again
To stand before Father in Heaven.

But Christ did more than die for me
He brought a promise of new life
For He was resurrected
On Easter's morning light.

Death was finally conquered
Life continues on
I will live again
Like God's begotten Son.

Choose the Right

Choose the Right

In this world today
It is hard to choose the right
There are so many temptations
We need the gospel's light

The gospel helps us see
What the Lord would have us do
The choice may not be easy
But the Spirit will help us through.

The gospel and it's principles
Are here for every one
If we heed it's teachings
We will overcome.

I know the Lord's teachings
I've learned them since my birth
I know that if I follow them
I'll pass this test on Earth.

Jesus, our Savior

Jesus, Our Savior

In the scriptures we will find
The birth of a baby boy
He had come to save mankind
And bring us all great joy.

As a boy he was found
Teaching in the temple
The temple leaders he did astound
And many other people.

As a man he showed the way
His life, our great example
He gave the blind the light of day
And the gospel to all the people.

In His death, He gave us life
And opened the door to heaven
We now can shed our ways of strife
Repent, and be forgiven.

The scriptures tell of His return
The world shall know His name
For Jesus Christ we all will yearn
The boy, the man, the same.

God speaks to his prophets

God Speaks to His Prophets

The Lords speaks to His prophets
So we may know His will
That we may be guided
Our missions to fulfill.

The prophet speaks the words
Of warning and of love
He truly is inspired
By messages from above.

If we heed his council
And do our very best
We will be so happy
Our lives will be so blessed.

Heavenly Father loves us
And we can see that's true
Because we have a prophet
To guide both me and you.

Serving others

Serving Others


Heavenly Father sent us to earth
and Jesus to show the way
We are given families at our birth
To help us everyday.

Jesus said, "Come follow me"
He spoke to one and all
Like Him we should try to be
And answer his loving call.

Jesus loved everyone
And we should do the same.
We can serve until the job is done
And do it in His name.

We'll have a happy feeling,
A burning in our hearts
And Heavenly Father's blessings
To us, He will impart.
