My Fathers

My Fathers

I have an earthly father
Who loves and cares for me
He goes to work each day
And provides the things I need.

He tells me what I need to know
He helps me along the way
He shows me by example
The things to do and say.

He taught me about the gospel
He taught me to love the Lord
He taught me about the Book of Mormon
And to obey its word.

I have an Heavenly Father
Who loves and cares for me
He sent me down to earth
To see what I can be.

He sent the Savior for me
To help me along the way
To show me by example
The things to do and say.

I am his spirit child
And blessed to feel his love
I know he guides and directs me
From His home above.
